What do you get when you mix a premier centrifugal manufacture with a world-leading twin-screw manufacture? You get the new VTS Twin-Screw compressor by Vortech.
The new VTS Twin-Screw compressors are capable of producing over 20psi. These compressors are going to be available in two sizes, which is the 2300 (2.3L) and 3300 (3.3L).
A custom manifold designed by Vortech will be incorporated into the systems, along with an integrated by-pass valve, and of course they will offer these systems in an Intercooled form, which will give them an advantage over their competition.
Vortech should have the new VTS "Tuner" supercharger kits towards the end of 2008. Vortech “Tuner” systems will include everything to mount the supercharger onto the engine, but you will need tuning & fuel components in order for it to run proper on your application.
The complete supercharger systems should be released towards the beginning of 2009. Vortech complete supercharger systems will include everything needed for it to function perfectly out the box.
