If anyone has any input on which one has better safety functions. i have a 93 mustang with a forged 327 20lbs of boost. all i have will hold up ie. fuel system, engine, tranny, etc. i was hoping to put in either a small 75 shot of nitrous or run a snowboostperformance kit. anyone have any good vs bad on these two. i was going to either get the NOS 05115 dry kit so no fuel puddling will occur in my intake. and i've heard one horror story of the meth pump failing on a meth kit. so if anyone has any input please let me know thanx. -troy |

IMHO, you are considering two very different methods of gaining HP.
Nitrous is considered a 'power adder' and meth injection is a tuning aid.
Most of the meth kits, with the Snow being among the best, have a level warning for the meth tank and a warning light for the pump, so failure should not be an issue.
Since you already are pushing 20lbs of boost, the meth injection would be the next logical step.
Tuning TWO power adders would take mucho time and probably several blow head gaskets. |
