August 28, 2002 - Paxton Automotive, a company that has been synonymous with automotive performance for nearly five decades, announces the 2000-2001 Dodge 4.7L Durango/Dakota and 2002 4.7L Ram Supercharging Systems.

The Paxton Supercharging System will add 87 horsepower and 68 ft./lb. of torque @ 6-7psig to the Durango/Dakota and Ram.  (The 4.7 engine from the factory produces 235 horsepower and 295 ft./lb. of torque).  It features a NOVI 1000 supercharger and allows retention of all factory accessories including A/C and power steering.  The kit also comes complete with a fuel system upgrade, which includes auxiliary fuel injectors and an electronic fuel/timing box.  All components needed to bolt the system to a stock vehicle, such as mounting plates, fuel pump, supercharger oil feed and drain assemblies, electronic timing controller and compressor bypass valve are included. A three-year limited warranty is provided on the supercharger.
